Bunny
Australian Shepherd Mix

Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Sex:  Female

Bunny has a sad story to tell. She came to us, with her brother Cody and her mom, Cattie. Their owner died and they had no place to go. Bunny is coming along, but still feeling the effects of losing her owner and being separated from her family. They all will do fine, but for now, it's just going to take some time.. Bunny is what looks to be an Aussie mix and is about 4 years old. She is a little overweight, and her foster mom has her on a diet to get her back into shape. Bunny is housebroke, crate trained, does fine with the other dogs and doesn't mind the cat. She sticks pretty close to her foster mom, but as you can see, she loves hanging out on the couch. Bunny is low maintenance and would do better in a quieter home. She is a sweetheart of a girl that just needs some time adjusting to all the changes in her life.

UPDATE (1/29/2012):
Bunny has been with us now for a few months. She started having some eye problems and we were told she has glaucoma in both her eyes.   Sadly, her right eye is the worse and she's already lost sight in it.. It's giving her problems and building up fluid, which is causing her pain. After talking to the vet, it's been decided that she will have to have that eye removed. This surgery will be the best thing for her. She's such a trooper and such a good girl that we want to make her life the best we can..  She is still looking for her forever home, so please try to look past her new look when we get her posted . She is such an amazing, trusting girl and she will make someone a great friend. She doesn't ask for anything but love and affection.

For more information on Bunny please call 618-282-7387.

Bunny is up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped and altered.
