Watch for more events and ways to participate as we pursue involvement in the Porta Fest Parade, Waterloo Homecoming Parade, Columbia Homecoming Parade, Waterloo Fall Fest, Monroe County Fair and the Kiwanis Car Show in Columbia.

February 9, 2012

"General Membership Meeting" - The Humane Society of Monroe County meets at 7:00 P.M. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 200 North Main Street, Waterloo, Illinois. All meetings are open to the general public.

February 18, 2012

"Adoption Event" - PetCo at 149 Gravois Bluffs Plaza Drive, Fenton, Missouri from 10AM to 2PM. Some of our animals will be on display for adoption, and foster parents are on hand to answer questions about any of the adoptees. If you are interested in an animal on our website and would like to arrange a visit at a time other than the scheduled adoption events, please call 618-282-7387 and leave a message.

Fosters, please bring your foster dog to this event or make arrangements for a Foster Buddy to get them there. Thanks!

Volunteers are also needed at this event to take care of our dogs and speak with the public

"Cause for Paws" - This is our "Eighth Annual A Cause For Paws Auction Dinner" to be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at The Fall Reception and Conference Center in Columbia. Ticket prices are $60 per person or $540 for a table of ten. Ticket price includes dinner and open bar.
