ADOPTION PENDING

Huff has been with us for such a long time. She's got a story to tell. She was adopted the first time with her sister and for whatever reason, was returned. Her sister was adopted shortly after. Huff then was adopted again, where she was not taken care of, and stopped eating. She came back to us so skinny. She was put into a foster home, where she was force fed for several weeks. She finally started eating on her own, but after several attempts at different food, she decided she only like Purina Pro Plan cat food. Well, the weight started coming back to her and her attitude through all the forced feedings was unbelievable. She purred and loved the attention. Huff is an awesome lady, approximately 3 years old. She is now at the Waterloo Feed Store where she's doing great. It takes her awhile to adjust to new situations, but if you are looking for an affectionate cat, this would be her. She will slowly adjust to other cats as long as they don't chase her and she should do fine with dogs, again, as long as they don't chase her. A calmer household is what she would love. I guarantee, she will keep your lap warm and give you her heart. She will have to stay on the Purina Pro Plan food, but you can always introduce her to new things. And remember, she'll need time to adjust to her new home, but it'll be so worth it in the end. Stop by the feed store and check this girl out.

For more information on Huff please call 618-282-7387.

Huff is up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped and is altered.

Some of our cats are in foster homes, so please call the shelter before making a trip down, if there is one cat you want to see.
