Jessie
was
born
in
October
2009
and
is
a
wonderful
energetic
tri-colored
border
collie
mix.
If
you
love
herding
dogs
you
will
absolutely
adore
Jessie.
She
has
the
intelligence,
herding
drive
and
agility
skills
that
border
collies
are
known
and
loved
for.
She
has
this
great
herding
trait
called
"the
crouch"
which
is
so
fun
to
watch
when
she
is
following
something
with
her
eyes.
She
knows
sit,
shake,
down,
come
and
fetch.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
walking/jogging
partner,
Jessie
will
be
your
best
friend.
She
does
well
on
a
leash/harness.
Need
someone
to
run
errands
with
you,
she
loves
to
be
the
co-pilot.
Open
your
car
door
and
she
promptly
jumps
in,
happy
to
watch
the
scenery
go
by.
(And
she
doesn't
complain
about
the
radio
station!)
Jessie
is
living
in
a
foster
home
with
2
other
herding
dogs,
a
female
and
a
male.
She
plays
very
well
with
the
male
border
collie,
herding
each
other
around
the
fenced
yard.
She
gets
along
fine
with
older
female,
respecting
her
space
and
leader
of
the
pack
status.
Don’t
be
scared
of
Jessie's
energy
level.
When
it
is
time
to
settle
down
and
snuggle,
she
quickly
becomes
a
medium
sized
lapdog.
Warning,
she’s
been
caught
stealing
covers
when
napping
with
her
foster
mom.
Jessie
is
house
broken
and
sleeps
uncrated
at
night
in
the
son's
bedroom.
She
is
crated
when
the
family
goes
to
work
and
school.
She
is
very
toy
driven
so
she
has
a
tendency
to
be
rough
on
stuffed
animals
and
dog
toys.
She
would
love
to
be
a
part
of
a
very
active
family
that
understands
how
awesome
a
“herder”
can
be.
A
fenced
yard
is
highly
recommended.
