Sandy is a super
sweet, ready-to-move-in kind of girl! She is a small
shepherd/yellow lab mix who is 2 years old and
weighs only 43 pounds; she is fully grown. Her
foster mom spotted her in the shelter and knew she
was too sensitive to spend another day there! Sandy
moved right into her foster home with beautiful
manners and was already housebroken. She has no
objections to spending time in a wire kennel in the
family room but is trustworthy loose in the house
and loves to sleep on the sofa. As you can see in
her picture, she rolls up in a tiny little ball to
sleep! She is quiet, neat and clean. Sandy is timid
and shy at first but warms up quickly when she knows
she is safe; she cowers sometimes as if she was
abused in the past. She has the greatest quirky ears
that move instant by instant to reflect what she is
feeling! She loves to cuddle and show affection.
Sandy is looking for a forever home where she would
love to be the only dog. She likes a calm, quiet
environment so no children would be ideal.
If you are looking
for a wonderful house dog, companion and best friend
you could not do better than Sandy! She is wearing her
red Valentine's neck scarf hoping someone will claim
her for their very own Valentine!
