Scruffy
Scottish Terrier Mix

Size: Small
Age: Adult
Sex:  Male

Scruffy came to us from animal control, covered with fleas and heartworms. He is about 1-1/2 years old and what we think is a Scottish Terrier mix. Scruffy is a happy guy that loves all the attention he is getting. He will have to go through his treatment before he can go to a new home, so it will be several months before he can start his new journey in life.

Heartworm treatment is very expensive and it takes about 3 months for these dogs to go through this. It is life threatening and is very much avoidable, with early testing and keeping the dog on heartworm preventative.

Scruffy will not be available for adoption for awhile, but if you would like to help us with the cost of this, that would be great. He is an awesome little guy who deserves a chance at a better life

Scruffy  will be ready for adoption once he has concluded his Heartworm treatments.

Scruffy Roll is up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped and is altered.

Scruffy  is one of our PIN pets ("Pet in Need"). He hopes you will consider making a donation to our PIN program to help with the cost of his heartworm treatment.

For more information on Scruffy please call 618-282-7387.
